About Kristina Izutsu

large outdoor area for healing

From an early age, Kristina Izutsu felt a deep connection to nature and the quiet intelligence present within all living things. Drawn to the plants, trees, animals, and rhythms of the natural world, she experienced an early awareness of both the beauty and sensitivity carried within life itself. She also became aware of the emotions and energies held by others, often feeling a natural impulse toward comfort, care, and healing.

In her twenties, a deep sense of curiosity and inner searching led her to travel throughout Europe, India, and Nepal in search of deeper spiritual understanding. Along the way, she explored a variety of healing traditions and philosophies, eventually discovering that the most profound connection was not something outside of herself, but something found within the heart.

Following this inner calling, Kristina shifted her path from journalism into the healing arts. She moved to London to study Shiatsu and Yoga, later settling in Ireland on a small farm surrounded by animals and nature. It was there that an experience unfolded which would stay with her for many years to come.

After a storm destroyed a stable on the farm, one of the ganders Kristina cared for lost his brother. For weeks, he sat quietly in grief. One day, as she held him, tears rolled gently from the sides of his beak. Then, slowly, something began to shift. Over time, he re-engaged with life and eventually formed a bond with another goose. This experience became a profound reminder of how deeply living beings carry grief, trauma, and emotional pain—and how healing can unfold naturally when there is safety, compassion, presence, and time.

Over the past four decades, Kristina has continued to deepen her studies and practice in a wide range of healing modalities, including Shiatsu and Asian Bodywork, Therapeutic Yoga and Qigong, Reiki, Substance Abuse Counseling, Life Coaching, Neuro-Sensory Development, Theta Healing, Quantum Healing, Tibetan healing practices, and more. Her work is deeply intuitive while also rooted in decades of training and lived experience.

Her path eventually led her to Hawaiʻi Island, where she has lived for the past 25 years with her husband Andy on a small farm near the ocean. Surrounded by nature and the quiet rhythms of the island, she continues to support others through gentle, compassionate healing work that honors each person’s own timing and readiness.

Philosophy of Healing

Kristina believes that healing does not come through force, but through gentle awareness, presence, and allowing. Rather than trying to “fix” the past, her work supports the release of emotional and energetic imprints that may no longer serve, creating space for greater balance, clarity, peace, and reconnection to one’s natural state of wholeness.

Each session unfolds intuitively and with deep respect for personal readiness. Healing is guided with compassion, care, and alignment with the highest good of the individual.
